When will we ever finish this?
Posted in Tattoo´s by Elin on October 24th, 2009
The optician asked me how I could see before, and I dont know. Cause it´s a new world that has opened up before me, and plus I dont have the pounding headache anymore.
Ok, I was not by any means blind, but let´s say that things are clearer. And I can see the signs when I am driving……thats go0d. And I can watch TV without closing one eye……thats good. And I can also see all haters and full-of-them selfes-people. And thats good, so I can avoid them.
Here they are. (try not too see the bad hair day and the wierd face i am making)

Dennis inner arm, we are continuing on the same theme, black and grey with RED. Such fun work!

And here is his chili skull again, healed up;

Colour in Josefines hand and cherryblossoms, it looks stunning on her.
(the lovely fingertattoo´s not mine. I love that little flie!)

In progress……… a great project, diving into 50´s science fiction! More too come.

Here Is the tree of life, healed up and colorful! Brandon and his fiance Alexandra are the best couple I have ever seen. Tight, in love and adorable. You can SEE the love between them.
Alexandras lower tribal cover-up is also finished. She is always in such pain, but the toughest ever, determened to make it!
Gossip; Rings has been seen and wedding is on next year! i hope we will finish Alexandras back so she can show it off in her w-dress…

Alexandras before;

After;

My motto this year has been “Everything Passes”. It has kept me swimming through a personal hell containing separation, guilt, moving three times in 8 months, sleeping with one eye open, and feeling like a bomb ready too explode. Everything Passes. Indeed. After a year I can say that it does. I finally feel back on track, I just need too worry about giving myself a break sometimes.
Messed it up a little, but the meaning is there;

A lot of good things has also happened too me this year, the saying above is soo ironic and bittersweet. in a way all things must pass, but all good things, I hope will leave room for more good things.
Positivity, love and inspiration.
Well, I am very impressed I must say! Malin sat like a rock through this. Turned out cool on her beautiful back. Her sister sat with her, I love hearing sisters babbling away, it reminds me of my own sisters.all three of them!

Joanna, a real cookie started this piece today! I really do love the traditional style, it´s playful and a lot of fun!

What is allude, as they say in litterature. Well, it´s when you use another artists art in any form and interpetrate it your own way. You can do it on purpose or your subconcious does it for you. It´s a form of inpiration, and all I see and experience can pop up in the work I do. It´s impossible for me too not be inspired by things that I see that are beautiful or has meening.
soooooo , hence my LAUGH when I finished this the other day and all of a sudden, from my mental library this CD-cover of Prince´s Diamonds & Pearls pops up!!!! Hihihihii!!!!!

Prince´s….

I must add, that Prince is my biggest idol and has been since I was a kid, I had a crush on him in my teens, but then I realized that he is very short, too short for me………so I decided that the music would be enough. But nowdays I´ll take that back…..I have lived long enough too knpw that it´s not a man´s height that makes the man. Prince, I´m all yours!
Oh, and the painting is called Tricky Licky.
The lowest butterfly is not mine, it was made a long time ago in Thailand. Fix and add……fix and add! Here it is;

Michaels back after the second sitting. Can´t wait too contiue on this!

Maja´s first tattoo, and what is better than the childrens names?!
Joakims Buddah; more colour next time.

TattooWorldLive was at TattooExpo in Malmö this weekend. It was good fun, lots of people, good friends, bad friends, new friends old friends, and most important; our wonderful customers of course!
I had a chance too look around and see all the fantastic work of various artists. I´m inspired now!
Me and Alex and Mårten worked in the booth. Alex made a backpiece on Niklas, two days, 18 hours and won best of show!

On the friday I tattooed Bjarki, he sat as a rock I felt very slow, but we came a bit on the way of finishing the geisha arm.
